The Sunrise Kiwanis club donated $1,000 to the Foundation of 91²Ö¿â for scholarships for the college’s students.
In its 25-year history, the 91²Ö¿â Foundation Scholarship Invitational has raised more than $1.7 million, assisting more than 2,500 students with their educations.
While the students are the ultimate winners of the Foundation of 91²Ö¿â’s Scholarship Invitational, a few players took home bragging rights from this year’s tournament held June 14 at Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course.
The Goldsboro Three Eagles Rotary Club has donated $1,000 to the Foundation of 91²Ö¿â.
Students entering certain technical programs at 91²Ö¿â may be eligible for renewable scholarships.
